Simone has worked in Information Technology for over 35 years, starting as a software developer in her native Brazil. Now living in the UK, she has led many IT and Data functions for FTSE-100-size organisations throughout her career, with a combination of deep technical ability, strategic vision, and modern ways of working.
Simone is well-known in the CIO, CTO, and CDO communities, having spoken on topics ranging from Business Agility to Data Sustainability in prestigious events, such as FT Live, DevOps Enterprise Summit, MIT/CDOIQ, Gartner, Global CIO Institute and FIMA.
She is a Chartered IT Professional and both a fellow of the British Computer Society - The Chartered Institute for IT - and the Forward Institute, which promotes responsible leadership across public, private, and third sectors in the UK. Her upcoming book, The Three Laws (working title), is her first detour into educational, social, and philosophical work, picking up the thread from her academic background in Economics and Data Science.
